Packaging & labels
Packaging and labels
Labels and packaging are the parts of a garment programme that run on their own production calendar. They are not decoration on the invoice — they are the items that decide whether the shipment leaves on time, and whether the fibre content on the label matches the fabric in the garment.
Labeling service
Woven or printed neck labels, care labels and size tags, sewn into the back neck during the garment run. Woven damask is thread-based and survives industrial washing, which is why it is the default for care labels; printed satin gives sharper fine detail and costs less at volume.
$285.37 per 1,000 labels, attached in-line.
Hangtags
Card hangtags with string or plastic fastener, printed one or both sides, on kraft, matte or gloss stock. A rectangular tag keeps the cost predictable; die-cut shapes are possible above a quantity threshold.
$353.86 per 1,000 tags, printed both sides.
Custom zip and pressure-seal poly bags
Zip-lock bags for resale-ready packing, pressure-seal for volume packing. Printed in one or two colours, with a suffocation warning and recycle mark where the destination market requires one. Bag size follows the folded garment, so confirm the folding method first.
$456.59 per 1,000 bags, printed.
How the three fit together
Neck labels have the earliest deadline because they are sewn in. Hangtags and bags are attached at packing, so they can be confirmed later — but once packing starts, changing either means re-packing. Confirm all three against the garment specification, not against the shipping date.
Questions
Can labels and packaging be ordered separately from garments?
Yes, but they are produced in their own batches with their own minimums, so a small garment order often leaves extra labels. The usual arrangement is to hold the surplus for the next run.
When should labels be confirmed?
Before the sewing date, not after the garment order. A label that arrives late means shipping unlabelled or holding the whole order, which is the most common delay in private-label production.
Are the quoted prices per piece or per batch?
The prices on this page are per 1,000 units, because labels, tags and bags are produced in batches. Your quote depends on label type, fold, colour count and bag size.
Do you print care and composition labels?
Yes. Fibre content, country of manufacture and the care symbols are laid out from the fabric specification for that style, so the label and the garment match — which is the part that gets checked.
