Long-Sleeve & Waffle T-Shirts — China Stock
Four long-sleeve styles, all raglan, in waffle knit and cotton twill at 210–260gsm. Long sleeves change the economics — more fabric, more seams, and a fit that has to work at the wrist as well as the shoulder.

Waffle knit versus cotton twill
Waffle knit is a textured honeycomb structure: it traps air, feels warmer than its weight suggests, and stretches in both directions. Cotton twill is a flat, denser weave with a diagonal line — less stretch, more structure, and a cleaner surface for printing.
For decoration, the difference is decisive. Waffle texture swallows fine lines, so a detailed chest print looks soft and slightly blurry; twill holds a crisp edge. If the design depends on thin type or a small crest, twill is the base. If the design is a large, bold shape, waffle’s texture adds to it.
Where long-sleeve fit fails
The usual failure is sleeve length, not body width. A relaxed Japanese fit has a dropped shoulder and a wider body, and if the sleeve is cut to the same length as a standard fit it ends up short at the wrist once the shoulder drops. Ask for the sleeve length measured from the dropped shoulder point, not from the collar.
The second failure is the cuff. Ribbed cuffs hold shape; plain hemmed cuffs stretch out after a few washes. On a 260gsm waffle, the cuff has to be heavier than on a light jersey or it looks like an afterthought.
Price and lead time
Long-sleeve styles sit at $5.61–$6.84 FOB depending on the fabric and tier — roughly double a basic short-sleeve blank, because fabric consumption per unit is close to double. The size ladder is the same three tiers, and 2XL/3XL surcharges apply as usual.
These are held in China stock, so the lead time is dispatch from the warehouse rather than a production run. If you need a colour outside the held range, it becomes a production order at 25–35 working days.

Long-Sleeve & Waffle T-Shirts: common questions
Is waffle knit good for printing?
For bold shapes yes; for fine detail no — the texture breaks up thin lines. Cotton twill holds detail better.
How is sleeve length measured on a dropped shoulder?
From the dropped shoulder point, not the collar. Ask for it explicitly, or the sleeve ends short.
Why do long-sleeve blanks cost more?
Fabric consumption per unit is close to double a short-sleeve body at the same weight.
